I have been doing some swapping of film with people and really enjoying
it. Essentially you shoot on a roll of film, wind it back and send it to
another person to shoot over the top of. Obviously the next person has
no idea what they are shooting over, hence the random fun and sometimes
beautiful outcomes.
Here are some images from a collaboration with John Baxter Weekes in NSW. John decided to have the film cross processed when being developed, just for some extra randomness!

upcoming exhibition. 'X'. a collaboration.

'X' is a exciting collaboration between artist TomboyBill and myself. It is a captivating merge of experimental photography and painting. The works have been called thoughtful and accessible, and said to have an exciting playfulness about them.
The opening is Friday the 30th August from 6-9pm. Come and say hello.

Experiments on 35mm film
I have been experimenting with 35mm film.
It started with someone gifting me two rolls of film, one roll soaked in vodka, and one soaked in window cleaner. I shot these and loved the effect. I then found out about boiling (and freezing film).
here are some of my boiled films (some have been 'inverted' (colours reversed)):
