The art of self portraits and AI interpretation.

I stumbled across an AI program which transforms any photo of you into art. Some of the results were awesome and some were... well... crap.

The website is: https://ai-art.tokyo/en/

I have no idea about its safety etc..so keep that in mind.

I should point out that I have a good mate, whom I often send terrible and ugly selfies of myself.. as it not only makes him laugh, but it also irritates him...some of these have been 'interpreted' below.

Here are some of the hits and... misses of the AI program and my selfies.

This image was the AI's interpretation of of this image:

This last one (which I love especially with it's one tine creepy eye) was the AI's interpretation of this below photo (I was showing my mate that my jumper was now beyond repair, as I had mended it several times already):

After Alex... (New Years Eve 2019, NYC . 9412)

After Alex... (New Years Eve 2019, NYC . 9412)
.
You pointed out the light as we went on a walk that afternoon.
Which is why I name this 'after' you.
You stopped at every place I asked you to and never looked bored, nor were impatient.
It was the last day of the year.
We were invited to a party, but I said that I preferred to just be with you.
You smiled in agreeance as we headed back to your place and ordered in.
We drank to celebrate life and us.
I tried to keep up with you, and ended up on the bathroom floor at 3am.
I should have known better.
It was a good reminder to be myself when I am with you.
It was a good reminder that I don't need to impress you,
as you accept and love me just as I am,
as I do you.
.
We woke up together on New Days day.
I felt the luckiest person in the world.
Not because I didn't have a hangover,
But because you had your arms around me.
We lay in bed for ages
just being with each other.
It was the perfect start to a new year.

mixed media experiments

Back in 2016 I had been experimenting with acrylic, ink and cutting them up and rearranging them... here are some of the things I had done and forgotten about!:
